Director of ZUACG MONTEFARM, MApp Aleksandar Bogavac, was awarded the prestigious international award "Creators for the Centuries" for professionalism in the public sector in Central and Southeastern Europe. The award was presented to him during the 5th World Congress of Entrepreneurs in Slovenia, held in mid-October 2025.
Director Bogavac received the award in one of eight categories for his contribution to the development of entrepreneurship, economy and socially responsible business in 2024. The selection process lasted five months, and 92 proposers from 10 countries participated in it, who nominated 122 candidates. The laureates were selected by an International Committee of 14 experts from nine countries.
During the congress in Ljubljana and Rogaška Slatina, the director presented MONTEFARM and the results achieved during 2024, including a 17% increase in total turnover, a 23% increase in sales in pharmacies, a 38% reduction in costs, and the acquisition of the international GDP certificate confirming compliance with European pharmaceutical quality standards.
The gala evening and award ceremony were held in the Crystal Hall of the hotel in Rogaška Slatina, and the award was presented to the laureate by Prof. Dr. Sc. Emeritus Velimir Srića, a member of the International Committee and a renowned expert in management and entrepreneurship in the region.
In his address, the director thanked the Union of Employers of Montenegro, which nominated him for the award, the members of the international jury, the Minister of Health, Dr. Vojislav Šimun, as well as the Board of Directors, management and all employees of MONTEFARM, emphasizing that their dedication is key to this recognition.
This recognition confirms that MONTEFARM and its director represent an example of professional, efficient and responsible management of a public institution in the region.
