Humanity in action: The management of "Montefarm" donated 17,000 euros to the Children's Home "Mladost" in Bijela

Humanost na djelu: Rukovodstvo “Montefarm”-a doniralo 17.000 eura Dječjem domu “Mladost” u Bijeloj

The director of "Montefarm", Aleksandar Bogavac, and the assistant directors of Milica Popivoda, Jelena Popović and Marija Ćulafić, donated the amount of 17,000 euros to the Children's Home "Mladost" in Bijela, an institution that provides a home for children without parental care.

In question is the monetary compensation that the Board of Directors of "Montefarm", in accordance with the law, collective agreements and internal acts of the Institution, awarded to the director and his assistants as recognition for a year of successful management of this important health institution. Although they had the right to keep the funds, the management members decided to donate it in its entirety.

•           "We believed that the money awarded as a reward for our work should bring an even greater good - to those who need it the most. The children in Bijela deserve special support and attention," said director Aleksandar Bogavac.

•           Milica Popivoda, assistant director, head of the Commercial Sector, pointed out: "This is not just a symbolic act - this is a message that values such as solidarity, empathy and responsibility towards the community must be part of any leadership behavior."

•           Jelena Popović, assistant director, head of the Pharmaceutical Healthcare Sector, added: "Pharma and humanity must go hand in hand. This decision was easy – because we want to serve the best interest of the community."

•           Marija Ćulafić, assistant director, head of the Department for Economic, Legal and General Affairs, said: "In times of challenges, children without parental care need the support of all of us. This donation is our way of contributing, as people and as professionals"

•    Marela Savić, director of the "Mladost" Children's Home - Bijela, said:  „On behalf of the children and employees of our institution, I would like to express my warmest thanks to the director of "Montefarm" and his team for the large financial donation. The money will be used for the purchase of equipment and furniture for the living space where the children live."

The donation was ceremonially handed over to the Children's Home "Mladost" in Bijela today, May 15, in the presence of the management of "Montefarm" and representatives of the Home.
