MONTEFARM pharmacists participated in a professional training organized by the Pharmaceutical Chamber of Montenegro, which brought together pharmacists from all over the country.

The presence of our pharmacists confirms MONTEFARM’s commitment to continuous medical education and the advancement of professional knowledge and skills, with the ultimate goal of providing higher-quality pharmaceutical healthcare to the citizens of Montenegro.

EducationPomo"Pharmacists’ Support for Patients with Skin Conditions"  it provided us with clearer guidelines in the diagnosis and differentiation of certain diseases, the latest therapeutic options and recommendations for skin care in certain conditions. Due to their availability, pharmacists are often the first point of contact for counseling patients with certain skin changes. That is why good education is very important, which helps us recognize the severity of symptoms, refer the patient to a doctor in a timely manner and prevent inadequate self-medication.

We were guided through education by prominent experts in the field of dermatovenerology:

• Prof. dr Željko Mijušković – leading expert with Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, who spoke about psoriasis - from theory to practice and the proper treatment of acne.
• Doc. dr Milica Rajović, also with Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, she spoke about the guidelines for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers and Hidradentis suppurativi - from the first symptoms to the latest treatment methods.
• Dr Jovana Boljević, specialist dermatovenerologist from PZU Sine Morbo, Podgorica, referred to the cause and treatment of atopic dermatitis and rosacea.
